MEETING OF RECEPTION COMMITTEE: The third meeting of the Reception Committee was held at Trichy on 06.04.2012 under the Presidentship of Com.S.Jeyachandran. Com.R.Chandrasekaran DGM, fondly called by all as 'RC' was felicitated in the meeting in view of his retirement this month.
Com.K.Rajasekaran, CS, Com.P.Udayasuriyan, CS, Chennai Telephones, Com.P.Manoharan, Circle President, Com.S.Kamaraj, Convenor, Reception Committee, Com.R.Venkataraman veteran TU leader, Com.RRB, ACS, Com.Ranganathan felicitated him. Com.RC was honoured with shawl, Sandal garland and memento. Com.RC's contribution to the Reception Committee was appreciated by all. Com.M.S.Ramluckshmi, CHQ Asst.Treasurer took part in the deliberations of the reception committee. District Secretaries of the adjacent districts and more than 60 members attended the meeting. Com.S.Kamaraj, Convenor and Com.T.Gunasekaran, Treasurer submitted status report of the various activities of the Reception Committee. of Union Budget
Service tax increased from 10 % to 12 %. We have to pay Income Tax for LIC
Policies (First Year ->3% and next year onwards -> 1.5%). When we sell our
immovable property and buy jewels > 2 Lakh, we have to pay Income Tax. The
Exemption limit for male tax payers have been equalised with Female tax payers (Upto
Rs 2 Lakh-> No tax). No need to pay Income tax for the Savings Bank Account
Interest. (only upto Rs 10,000 Interest).
